These letters were inspired by a late 1800s piece of cider ephemera. In a world leaning more and more into AI, I find solace in handmade letters, particularly old ones. The things the words say, the hands that drew them, all the places they lived, and the countless eyes that passed over them before being tucked away by time. I like to think that by giving these letters a fresh squeeze, their story endures. Maybe a hundred years from now they’ll catch someone’s eye and make them stop for a moment just to take a longer look.
