Ventura
Ventura is the 5th font from the Damn Foundry. It’s a slightly right-leaning, low contrast display font inspired by my favorite little California town. The letter shapes move like the sea, as if they were made by the stroke of a brush. I spent a lot of time as a kid in Ventura playing at my Grandparents’ house where I learned to love drawing, art, and I began my lifelong pursuit of having fun and not taking things too seriously.
Ventura has become my favorite font yet, I still can’t seem to avoid adding slight art nouveau leanings to my letterforms… but you know what? I’m not sick of them yet! I hope you like this one as much as I do. Thank you for the support!
